Genius Matchmaker is a private matchmaking service for adults in the San Francisco Bay Area. We help people look for genuine introductions and may invite selected guests to Instant Date evenings. These Terms govern your use of geniusmatchmaker.com and related services.
2. Adults only
You must be 18 years of age or older to use this site, submit an inquiry, receive matchmaking services, attend Instant Date, or receive SMS messages from us. By using the site or contacting us, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
3. Our services
We offer personal matchmaking and, when invited, Instant Date social evenings. We listen to what you are looking for, search with care, and may make introductions. Site games (for example Horoscope Match, Poetry, and other free games) are offered as free entertainment only and are not part of a paid matchmaking package unless we say otherwise in writing.
4. No guarantee of a match
Matchmaking depends on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that we will find you a match, that an introduction will lead to a relationship, or that every inquiry will result in an invitation or introduction. We may decline or pause work with any client at our discretion.
5. Fees
Any fees for matchmaking or Instant Date are disclosed separately before you pay (for example by email or a pay link we send only after an invitation). Free site games and browsing this website do not require payment. Submitting an inquiry does not create an obligation to purchase services.
6. Your conduct
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when you inquire or communicate with us
- Treat staff, other clients, and Instant Date guests with respect
- Not use the service for harassment, fraud, illegal activity, or to misrepresent who you are
- Not scrape, abuse, or disrupt the website or our communications
We may refuse service or end communications if these standards are not met.

9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Genius Matchmaker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, free games, matchmaking inquiries, introductions, or Instant Date events. Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the fees you actually paid us for those services in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing). Some states do not allow certain limits; in those places our liability is limited as far as the law allows.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in California have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the services, except where the law requires otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
